OMICS International organized the 4th Asia Pacific Congress & Expo on Dental and Oral Health at Park Regis North Quay, Brisbane, Australia during July 27-29, 2015 was organized with a focus on “New Challenges to Improve Oral and Dental Health Care Globally”. It was a great success where eminent keynote speakers from various reputed universities and organizations made their resplendent presence and addressed the gathering.

Prof. Marc Tennant, The University of Western Australia, Australia conducted a workshop on “Geographic Information Systems in planning health services” and Ms. Leonie M Short, Central Queensland University, Australia conducted a workshop on “Meeting Oral Health Care Needs of the Elderly and Very Old in the Population” on July 27, 2015 in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topic.

Prof. Marc Tennant, The University of Western Australia, Australia presented a paper on “Sustaining innovations in public dental health reform: Experiences from a two decades of advancing the agenda of equity in oral health Australia”, Ms. Leonie M Short , CQ University, Australia gave a presentation on “Innovative educational approach for oral health therapy education in Australia”. Prof. Boyen Huang, Charles Sturt University, Australia presented on “Genetic implications of supernumerary teeth for tooth regeneration”; Dr. Roy George of Griffith University, Australia enlightened the audience with his presentation “Role of laser activated in detection and disinfection of the root canal spaces”; Prof. Kazuhiko Nakano from Osaka University, Japan elucidated on “Streptococcus mutans and systemic diseases: Current knowledge and future perspective”; Dr. Sigal Jacobson, The Inventor of Uveneer System, Australia described about “An introduction to the biomimetic aesthetic dentistry and the smile design rules”; Dr. Anthony Ancell from Woollahra Dental Practice, Australia explained about the “Ortho-postural Dentistry: A broader view of oral health”, Dr. Lynette G Wallace from PlanetSmiles Pty Ltd., Australia gave the presentation on the “Looking at the interactions between physiological coherence, dental caries mouthbreathing, heart rate and emotional health”; Dr. John A Loudon from Australia presented on “The dental-systemic disease 'connection conundrum': improved management through understanding”; Prof. Hatem A Alhadainy from Tanta University, Egypt enlightened the audience with his presentation entitled “Artificial floor technique: The biological concept for the treatment of furcation perforation”; Dr. Garth Pettit from 4 Your Smile 2 Shine Pty Ltd, Australia gave a paper presentation on “Paint Your Mouth and Oral Disease Prevention” and Mrs. Pirkko-Liisa Tarvonen, University of Eastern Finland, Finland presented about the “Children’s self-care practices in Pyongyang, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea: comparison of children’s and their guardian’s reports”.
Dr. Raj Nair, Lakeshore Dental Practice, Republic of Ireland conducted a workshop on “Single tooth anesthesia with a new innovative anaesthetic delivery device” on July 29, 2015.
This conference was a path breaking opportunity for students too, were given a chance to exhibit their paramount research work through Poster Presentations and discuss the same with the exalted scientists.
All the papers presented at Dental Congress 2015 have been published in the proceedings of the Journal of Oral Health and Dental Management
