The International Conference on Coastal Zones 2016 hosted by the Conferenceseries LLC held during May 16-18, 2016 at Osaka, Japan.

The conference was organized on a single theme “Multidisciplinary Approach in Achieving Equitable Development for Coastal Zones” which comprised of 11 Tracks designed to offer comprehensive sessions that address current issues in the field of Coastal Zones. This annual conference brought together eminent scientists from more than 25 countries in which many critical issues were discussed in depth, to provide up-to-date information to the world. On the other hand, the meeting provided a best platform for young researchers to share their ideas and experiences and for eminent people to speak on their scientific research.

The conference was greeted by the welcome message by our moderator Dr  Gabriela Christmann, Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning, Germany, and initiated with a keynote series of well known speaker Professor Hitoshi Tanaka, Tohoku University, Department of Civil Engineering, Sendai, JAPAN and Takao Yamashita Hiroshima University, the Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation, JAPAN and  Ajay Shanker, Ph.D., P.E., Associate Professor, Rinker school of Construction Management, University of Florida, USA, and Gabriela Christmann, Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning, Germany  and it was followed by oral and poster presentation’s. The sessions are Chaired by José S Antunes do Carmo, University of Coimbra, Portugal, and AnneMarie Clements, Environmental and Botanical Consultants, Australia and Gabriela Christmann, Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning, Germany  and Co-chaired with Dr Satoshi Nagai, National Research Institute of Fisheries Science, Japan and  Ray-Yeng  Yang, National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, Agnieszka Kubowicz- Grajewska, Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdansk, Poland.
