International Conference and Expo on Biomechanics and Implant Design (Biomechanics-2015) was convened by OMICS International during July 27-29, 2015 at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel Florida, USA. The meeting brought together group of senior eminent scientists, innovators and agency executives to explore biomechanical and implant designing opportunities on emerging digital media platforms with interest and expertise in the field of biomechanics and implant design research. The three day program witnessed thought provoking keynote and speaker presentations from experts in the field of biomechanics, biomedical engineering, orthopedics, kinesiology, arthrology, physical medicine and sports science highlighting the theme, “New research and techniques of Biomechanics and Implant Designing".

Biomechanics-2015 Organizing Committee would like to thank the Moderator of the conference, Dr.  Mohamed Hamdy Doweidar, University of Zaragoza, Spain and Dr. Mohamed Samir Hefzy, University of Toledo, USA who contributed a lot for the smooth functioning of this event.

In the opening remark welcome note was given by Dr. Mohamed Hamdy Doweidar, the support was extended by Honorable guests and Keynote Speakers of Biomechanics-2015. The opening lecture was given by Mohamed Hamdy Doweidar, University of Zaragoza, Spain, followed by Dr. Mohamed Samir Hefzy, University of Toledo, USA; Dr. Michele J Grimm, Wayne State University, USA and Dr. Lisa Ferrara, OrthoKinetic Technologies, LLC, USA in Day one session. The keynote session during day two was opened by Mohamed Samir Hefzy, University of Toledo, USA

The conference proceedings were carried out through various Scientific-sessions and plenary lectures. Also the conference was featured with Workshop and Symposium.

Workshop Day 1: A workshop on “Entrapment of superior and middle cluneal nerves as an unknown cause of low back pain and pseudosciatica” organized by Dr. Yoichi Aota, Yokohama Brain and Spine Center, Japan.

Workshop Day 2: A workshop on “Designing and evaluating protective gear and implants for safety and effectiveness” organized by Dr. Lisa A Ferrara* and Diane Dobrea^#; *OrthoKinetic Technologies, USA; ^#Kapstone Medical, USA.

Day two sessions were flanked by poster presentations. We would like to thank the Poster Competition Judge Mohamed Hamdy Doweidar, University of Zaragoza, Spain for his valuable time. On behalf of the conference OMICS International, congratulates the Best Poster awardees for their outstanding performance and appreciates all the participants who put their efforts in poster presentations and sincerely wishes them success in future endeavors.
