Dentistry Congress- 2016 Report

Conferenceseries LLC organized the 12^th World Congress on Dentistry and Oral Health at Manchester, UK during August 4-5, 2016 was organized with a focus on “Exploring the Possibilities in the arena of Dentistry”. It was a great success where eminent keynote speakers from various reputed universities and organizations made their resplendent presence and addressed the gathering.

Dentistry Congress-2016 Organizing Committee would like to thank the Moderator of the conference, Dr Dareen Mohamed Abdel Hameed Khattab, Alexandria University, Egypt, who contributed enormously for the smooth functioning of this event.

Dr. Kashif Hafeez, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland conducted a workshop on “Socket Preservation for the GDPs” on August 05, 2016 in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topic.

Dr. Kahif Hafeez, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland presented a paper on “Dental Implants, when is the right time to graft?” Dr. Adam Nulty, Implant Dental Surgeon, UK, gave a presentation on “21st Century Implant Planning and Restoration with 3D Imaging & 3D Printed Drill Guides. ABI AAD Lamia, Lebanese University, Lebanan presented on “Musculoskeletal Disorders among Lebanese Dentists"; Aishah Alhododi, University of Leeds, UK enlightened the audience with his presentation “Oestrogen receptor (ER) expression and activity during osteogenic differentiation of dental pulp cells”; Dr. Wan Zaripah Wan Bakar, Universiti Sains Malaysia Health Campus, Malaysia elucidated on “Marginal Gap Evaluation of Metal Onlay and Resin Nano Ceramic (RNC) (LAVA ™ Ultimate CAD/CAM Blocks) Onlays”;  Dr. Sim K. Singhrao, University of Central Lancashire, UK  described about “Is periodontal disease a risk factor for developing Alzheimer’s disease?”; Samantha Pozzi, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy explained about the “An up-date of oral complications in the era of novel agents in onco-haematology”, Omar Farouq Al Shannaq, German Board of Oral Implantology, Saudi Arabia gave the presentation on the “Creative Extraction technique for complicated cases to minimize complications at vital areas and preserve nerve, bone and sinus from injury”; Kruthi Nanduri, Apollo Hospitals, India presented on ““Gain Without Pain”: Evaluating Preemptive Analgesic Effects of Dextrometharphan in Reducing Postoperative Pain”; Zubaida Al Karaawi, Prince Sultan Medical Military City, Saudi Arabia enlightened the audience with his presentation entitled “Moderate and Deep Sedation Experience in Paediatric Dental Patients in Riyadh”; and Walid Odeh, German board in oral Implantology, Jordan gave a paper presentation on “Difficult cases and their clinical solution".

Dr. Arup Ratan Choudhury, Dentistry Ibrahim Medical College, Bangladesh gave a presentation on “Dental Care and Managements of Medically Compromised Patients in Practise” on August 05, 2016 in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topic.

This conference was a path breaking opportunity for students too, were given a chance to exhibit their paramount research work through Poster Presentations and discuss the same with the exalted scientists.

All the papers presented at Dentistry Congress-2016 have been published in the proceedings of the Journal of Oral Health and Dental Management
