The 3rd International Conference on Nephrology and Therapeutics was organized by OMICS Group Inc., during June 26-27, 2014 at Valencia Conference Center, Valencia, Spain. Active participation and generous response were received from the Organizing Committee Members, scientists, researchers as well as experts from Nephrology and Therapeutics arenas, non-government organizations, and students from numerous groups who took this conference to the pinnacle of most flourishing and productive events in 2014 from OMICS Group.

The conference was marked with the attendance of young and brilliant researchers, business delegates and talented student communities representing more than 25 countries, who have driven this event into the path of success.  

The conference was initiated with a warm welcome note from Honorable guests and the Keynote forum lead by Dr. Sudhakar Yakkanti, Honorable President, OMICS Group Inc. The proceedings went through interactive sessions and panel discussions headed by Dr. Samy Habib, University of Texas, USA; Honorable Moderator for the conference.

The conference proceedings were carried out through various Scientific-sessions and plenary lectures, of which the following topics were highlighted as Keynote-presentations:

  • Dr. Anil K Mandal, Mandal Diabetes Research Foundation, USA- Can urine glucose substitute for finger-stick glucose in diabetes care? 
  • Dr. Michael F Michelis, Lenox Hill Hospital, USA- Modern multiple therapies directed at prevention of progression of chronic kidney disease 
  • Dr. Phuong-Thu Pham, University of California, USA- Management of patients with a failed kidney transplant: Immunosuppression weaning, dialysis re-initiation, and transplantectomy
  • Dr. Samy L Habib, University of Texas Health Science Center, USA- Diabetes and renal complications 

Also, the conference proceedings were exalted through the enlightening workshop session on “Anti-Complement Therapy of Renal Diseases” organized by Dr. Kenneth Liebermann, Hackensack University Medical Center, USA.

OMICS Group has taken the privilege of felicitating Nephro-2014 Organizing Committee and Keynote Speakers who supported for the success of this event.

The esteemed guests, Keynote Speakers, well-known researchers and delegates shared their innovative research and vast experience through their fabulous presentations at the podium of grand Nephro-2014. Having witnessed the zeal and zest in the presentations and novelty in the topics, speakers have recommended organizing the conference in the field of Nephrology and Therapeutics next year with the theme, "Identifying & Understanding the New, Advanced Approaches in Nephrology for Better Renal Health

We are also obliged to various delegate experts, company representatives and other eminent personalities who supported the conference by facilitating active discussion forums. We sincerely thank the Organizing Committee Members for their gracious presence, support, and assistance towards the success of Nephro-2014.
