Euro Mental Health 2018 – Paris, France:
We would like to thank all of our wonderful and eminent speakers, conference attendees who shared their research knowledge and made Euro Mental Health 2018 - Conference as memorable and our best event ever!
Annual Congress on Mental Health 2018, hosted by the Conference Series Ltd was held during July 09-11, 2018 at Holiday Inn – Marne La Vallée Paris, France with the theme “Mental Health instigation through Psychiatric and Psychological Advancements”. The conference was initiated with a great cause to support, network, and empower each and every individual who are working to end the stigma of Mental Health.
Benevolent response and active participation was received from the Editorial Board Members of Conference Series Groups Journals as well as from the Scientists, Mental Health Workers, Psychological researchers, Psychiatrists Academicians, Practitioners, Students, NGOs and people who are working for welfare of society & Mental Health, who made this event successful.
Through this conference we created a global international networking platform with experts from 38 different countries and successful collaborations worth more than a Quarter a million! We had participation of 58 speakers, 20+ Poster Presentations, 3+ exhibitors, Leading Recruiters and 130+ attendees. Our congress was a grand amalgamation of experts all around the globe where we experienced inspiring stories and witnessed great research presentations.
Here, we present a short over view of our three days international event in brief.
Day 1:
Moderator/Keynote Speaker:
Abel B St .Amour, The Institute of Collateral Intellect, USA
Abel B St .Amour. is a Clinical Psychologist. He is an Independent Researcher and Author. He is a registered Licensed Mental Health Counsellor, Certified Community Health Worker and registered Licensed Addiction Professional Counselor.
Dr Amour hosted the event interesting for three days. He kept the event delightful with his outstanding anchoring skills between the speakers and the participants. He presented our session’s first keynote speech on “Religious leaders and mental health practitioners: The value of life factors of mental health, psychosocial and spiritual support working with missionary relief workers coping with traumatic stress”.
We are extremely thankful for Dr Abel. His witty, entertaining anchoring is noteworthy!
Keynote Speaker:
Second Keynote speech for Day 1 was presented by Steve Morgan, Practice Based Evidence Consultancy,UK. Steve Morgan attained a Diploma in Occupational Therapy at Oxford and an MA in Practice Development at Middlesex University. He worked as a Clinician in ward and community settings, and also as a Trainer for the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health. He presented his keynote speech on “Positive risk-taking: From rhetoric to reality”
Keynote Speaker:
Third Keynote speech for Day 1 was presented by Michele Attias, Michele Attias Coaching, UK. Michele Attias is a Mindset Expert working for over 20 years within the Mental Health field. She completed her Advanced Diploma in Therapy at North London University, qualified as a Clinical Supervisor at the Central School for Counselling and Psychotherapy London. She was a finalist in the Women Inspiring Women Awards, and in 2017 was a Best Coach finalist at the Best Business Women Awards. She presented her keynote speech on “Look inside: Stop seeking start living”
Keynote Speaker:
Fourth Keynote speech for Day 1 was presented by Riadh Abed, World Psychiatric Association, UK. Riadh Abed is a retired Psychiatrist. He is a Medical Director and Hon Senior Clinical Lecturer. He worked in the British NHS as a Consultant for 25 years and Medical Director in South Yorkshire. He presented his keynote speech on “Evolutionary theory: Medicine’s neglected basic science”

- Chandra Nanthakumar, HELP University, Malaysia - presented her speech on “Intervention of yoga in dealing with stress and anxiety in children”
- Henry A. Montero Tapia, Alquimedez Mental Health Counseling Bronx, USA- presented his speech on “Anosognosia and how to perceive your mental illness”
- Ekhlas Al Gamal, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, KSA - presented her speech on “Maternal bereavement: Mothers lived experience of losing a newborn infant in Jordan”
- Miriam Schiff, Hebrew University, Israel- presented her speech on “Soldiering on: A qualitative study of bereavement among Israeli parents who lost their children in military service”
- Deb Coolhart, Syracuse University, USA- presented her speech on “Acknowledge Me! A grounded theory exploration of transgender experiences of family and social support and rejection”
Workshops:
- First workshop of Day 1 was presented by Stefan Charidge, The Penny Model, UK. Stefan Charidge has been in full time Private Practice for over 15 years. He is the author of “The Penny Model”, and Originator of the “Break Free Anxiety” phone app. He presented his workshop on “Depression – The cause and solution”
- Second workshop of Day 1 was presented by Chris, Nikki and Erna. Chris Peters, Erna Arnoldus and Niki Peters have a combined lived experience that expands decades. All three have a BcSW and have continued studying and contributing to educational programs for clients and professional workers. Together they have seen thousands of visiting clients. They have contributed at local national level, advocating the use of professionalized peer-to-peer work and promoting anti-stigma in mental health. They presented their workshop on “Zelfregiecentre: Please be Welcome!”
Day 2:

Kalyani Gopal, Mid-America Psychological and Counselling Services PC, USA
Kalyani Gopal, PhD, HSPP, Founder & President, SAFE Coalition for Human Rights, Nominated President-Elect, IPA Dr. Gopal is a keynote and international speaker and trainer on foster care and adoption, sex-trafficking, child sexual abuse, Autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, and psychopathology. She is the President of Mid-America Psychological and Counselling Services, PC and manages seven mental health clinics in Indiana, Illinois, and Florida.
Dr Kalyani hosted the event interesting as our chair for three days. She kept the event delightful with her outstanding organizing skills. She presented our session’s first keynote speech on “Advances in treatment of trauma”.
We are extremely thankful for Dr Kalyani. Her active participation in Euro Mental Health is noteworthy!
Keynote Speaker:
Second Keynote speech for Day 2 was presented by Khurram Sadiq, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation, UK. Khurram Sadiq is a Consultant Psychiatrist in a Complex Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) working in Central Manchester, United Kingdom. He presented his keynote speech on “Social media: Its challenges and impact on mental health.”
Keynote Speaker:
Third Keynote speech for Day 2 was presented by Karin E Peuschel, Praxis Erlenhof, Switzerland. Karin E Peuschel has completed her Medicine and Molecular Biology at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and completed her Medical thesis from the University of Zurich. Currently, she is the Director of Praxis Erlenhof in Zug (Switzerland) and Independent Researcher in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. She presented her keynote speech on “Psychotherapy of dissociative disorders with non-hypnotic age-regression”
Keynote Speaker:
Fourth Keynote speech for Day 2 was presented by Mohammed Hadi Eltonsi, Cairo University Medical College, Egypt. Mohamed Hadi Eltonsi is a Medical Graduate trained in Group Psychotherapy, Hypnosis, Silva Mind Control, NLP, Reiki Master, Pranic Healing, Life Couch, Mantra Yoga Meditation among other courses of psychic powers, family constellation through his medical study and practices then as a Diplomat and Ambassador. He presented his keynote speech on “Immediate healing for personality development”

She presented her workshop on “The Dalian Method -An advanced technology of the future for healing and personal transformation”
- Second workshop of Day 2 was presented by Irad Eichler, Shekulo Tov Group, Israel. Irad Eichler founded “Shekulo Tov Group” in 2005. Shekulo Tov Group is a non-profit organization for vocational recovery. Shekulo Tov Group developed The Integrative Model and was awarded the “Project Zero” prize for impactful social enterprises in 2017, categorized under Innovative Practice 2017 on Employment, Work and Vocational Education & Training. He is also the Founder of “7 Chairs”, a platform for text support groups and the Founder of “Israeli Social Business School” and a Podcaster. He was announced by the world economic forum as a Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2008.

Kindi Dulai-Gill is a Transformation and Empowerment Catalyst. She is a sought after Professional Speaker, specializes her talks on unconscious bias and their impact on our emotional and mental health. She is a Former CEO of a private company, responsible for 3000 people nationally in the UK, and she has 30 plus years of experience in Leadership and Change Management. She is trained as a Chartered Accountant. She is a Member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and a Former President of the local Vancouver and BC chapter. She is the Founder and Owner of Spark Expansion Consulting Ltd., and a Facilitator of the Dalian Method from the Dalian School of Health and Consciousness.

- First workshop of Day 3 was presented by Coach Ray. Raymond “Coach Ray” Rodriguez, 9 years in recovery from MH, SUD and the school of hard knocks. He has a B.A. in Psychology from Herbert H. Lehman College, Bronx, NY, and is Certified as a Professional Life Coach, NYS Peer Specialist, Recovery Peer Advocate and 1st Dan Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. He was recently a Regional Director of Behavioral Health Peer Services in New York State, is a Board and Committee Member of numerous local, regional, state and international initiatives and is the creator and founder of MyFOURmula™ and The MyFOURmula Way™.
