Pediatric Gastroenterology 2016 Report
International Conference on Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Practices was successfully held at Double Tree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport in Philadelphia, USA during June 15-16, 2016. The conference was organized around the theme “Innovative schemes and recent approaches in Pediatric Gastroenterology”.
Active participation and generous response was received from the Organizing Committee Members, Editorial Board Members of Journals as well as from eminent Scientists, Talented Researchers and Young Student Community. Researchers and students who attended from different parts of the world has made the conference one of the most successful and productive events in 2016. The conference was marked with the presence of renowned scientists, talented young researchers, students and delegates driving the two days event into the path of success with thought provoking keynote and plenary presentations.
Pediatric Gastroenterology-2016 Organizing Committee would like to thank the Moderator of the conference, Dr. Eyad Mahmoud Altamimi, Mutah University, Jordan who contributed a lot for the smooth functioning of this event.
The conference was initiated with a warm Welcome Note and the Book Launch by Honorable Guests and the Keynote forum. The conference proceedings were carried out through various scientific-sessions and plenary lectures, of which the following topics were highlighted as Keynote-presentations:
- “Obesity and inflammatory bowel disease in children”, given by Dr. Dinesh S. Pashankar, Yale University School of Medicine, USA.
- “EoE: What have we learned in the last 20 years”, presented by Dr. Aliza B Solomon, Weill Cornell Medicine, USA.
- “Celiac disease and gluten related disorders: Understanding what’s new with this new ‘old’ disease” by Dr. Anthony F Porto, Yale University School of Medicine, USA.
- “Obesity and gastrointestinal disorders”, lectured by Dr. Uma Padhye Phatak, Yale University School of Medicine, USA.
The meeting was carried out through various sessions, in which the discussions were held on the following major scientific tracks:
- Clinical Pediatric Gastric Problem
- Pediatric and Neonatal Gastroenterology
- Pediatric Gastrointestinal Surgery
- Pediatric Gastrointestinal Disease
- Pediatric Gastrointestinal Diseases Diagnosis
- Pediatric Gastrointestinal Diseases Treatment
