Transcriptomics-2015 Report:

International Conference on Transcriptomics was held during July 27-29, 2015 at Hyatt Regency – Orlando International Airport, USA. The conference was marked with the attendance of Editorial Board Members of supported OMICS Group Journals, Scientists, young and brilliant researchers, business delegates and talented student communities representing more than 25 countries, who made this conference fruitful and productive.

This conference was based on the theme “Transcriptome Analysis: Unveiling the layers of Expressions” which included the following scientific tracks:

·         Transcriptome analysis and Gene Expression-An Overview

·         RNA Editing and RNA Interference: Interplay

·         Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Technologies

·         Disease Interrogation and Applications of RNA-Seq

·         Exploring the complexity of the Transcriptome

·         Refining expression analysis

·         Epigenetics

·         Functional Impact of Non-Coding RNA (ncRNA)

·         Cancer Genomics: Integrative and Computational Approaches

·         Expression Profiling

·         Clinical Applications and Related Disorders

·         Transcriptional Regulation and Transcriptional attenuation

·         Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics

·         Transcriptomics and Proteomics of Microorganisms

·         Transcriptomics and Proteomics of Plants

·         Transcriptome technologies market

·         New Horizons to the Transcriptome

Transcriptomics-2015 was moderated by Dr. Andrey S. Krasilnikov (Penn State University, USA) on Day-1, Dr. Yingwei Mao (Pennsylvania State University, USA) on Day-2 and Dr. Vishwanath Sollapura (Agriculture and Agri-Food, Canada) on Day-3

We are thankful to our below Honourable guests for their generous support and suggestions.

  • Dr. Glen M Borchert – University of South Alabama, USA
  • Dr. William McCombie – Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, USA
  • Dr. Momiao Xiong – University of Texas, United States
  • Dr. Max H Garzon – The University of Memphis, USA

The conference proceedings were carried out through various Scientific-sessions and plenary lectures, of which the following topics were highlighted as Keynote-presentations:

  • Fully mining RNA-Seqdata for noncoding RNA analyses: Glen M Borchert, University of South Alabama, USA
