As per available reports about 1 workshop are presently dedicated exclusively to Access Medicine and articles are being published on Access Medicine.
The Access to Medicine Index is an independent initiative that ranks the world’s 20 largest research-based pharmaceutical companies according to their efforts to improve access to medicine in developing countries. The Index assesses how companies are making their products more available, affordable, accessible and acceptable to patients in need. By comparing companies to one another, the Index aims to stimulate pharmaceutical companies to play a bigger part in addressing the challenges of access to medicine in developing countries and to offer them insight into the activities of their peers. Lifestyle Medicine, Personalized Medicine Diabetes and Translational Medicine are techniques used to analyze biological markers in the genome and proteome, realizing the value of personalized medicine the individual's genetic code and how their cells express their genes as proteins, by applying molecular biology to medical testing.
OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.
Scope and Importance:
Furthermore, the Access to Medicine Index seeks to create a platform for stakeholders from the pharmaceutical industry, governments, investors, civil society, patient organisations and academia to gather around and form a common view of how these pharmaceutical companies can make further progress. The Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines is an international campaign started by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to increase the availability of essential medicines in developing countries.
MSF often has difficulties treating patients because the medicines required are too expensive or are no longer produced. Sometimes, the only drugs available are highly toxic or ineffective, and they often have to resort to inadequate testing methods to diagnose patients.
Market Analysis:
Market analysis would be used, rather than direct examination of the gene, for several reasons: 1. The gene location is known, but the gene sequence has not yet been determined and thus cannot be analyzed directly. But if markers exist close to the gene locus, then the mutant gene can be inferred through marker analysis. 2. Marker analysis is much faster analysis then directs gene sequencing. 3. Marker analysis is much cheaper then gene analysis. Marker analysis can generally be performed for under $200, while a complete screen of a gene can be several thousand dollars.
