Biodiversity-2012 Report
The 1st International Conference on Biodiversity & Sustainable Energy Development, hosted by the OMICS Group was held on during September 14-15, 2012 at Hyderabad International Convention Center, India. Generous response and active participation was received from the Organizing Committee Members, Chair and Co-chair and Editorial Board Members of OMICS Group Journals as well as from various Universities such as University of Texas, University of Missouri, Qatar University, University of Tanzania etc, and more; researchers and leaders from ICRISAT, NARA, ONGC, ICAR, IUBS and other government organizations and delegates from private and government sectors, who made this conference as one of the successful and productive events in 2012.
The conference was carried out through various sessions, in which the discussions were held on the following scientific tracks:
- Track 1: Ecosystem and Ecography
- Track 2: Origin of Species and Evolution
- Track 3: Biodiversity, Energy Systems and Environmental Sustainability
- Track 4: Occupational Disease and its Impacts
- Track 5: Occupational Medicine
- Track 6: Agricultural Health and Safety
- Track 7: Gross Motor Development (Occupational Therapy)
- Track 8: Physical Health (Occupational)
- Track 10: Infectious Disease and Epidemiology
- Track 11: Occupational Hygiene
- Track 12: Basics of Preventive Techniques
- Track 13: Current Issues in OH&S
The conference was initiated with an Opening Ceremony and followed by Key- not speakers:

All accepted abstracts have been indexed in OMICS Group Journal of Ecosystem & Ecography as a special issue.
We are also obliged to various outside experts, company representatives and other eminent personalities who supported the conference by facilitating the discussion forums.
