Rheumatology-2012 Report
The International Conference & Exhibition on Rheumatology & Therapeutics, hosted by the OMICS Group was held on August 14-15, 2012 in Hilton Chicago/Northbrook, USA. Generous response and active participation were received from the Editorial Board Members of OMICS Group Journals as well as from rheumatologists, researchers and leaders from pharma, government organizations who made this conference as one of the most successful and productive events in 2012 from OMICS Group.
The conference was carried out through various sessions, in which the discussions were held on the following scientific tracks:
- Auto Immune Rheumatic Diseases and Treatment
- Osteoarthritis and Treatments
- Rheumatoid Arthritis and Current Research
- Other Rheumatic Disorders
- Pediatric Rheumatology
- Drug Therapy for Rheumatic Diseases

- Rheumatic Pain and Soft Tissue Pain
- Genetics of Rheumatic Diseases
- Orthopedic and Muscular System
- Novel Techniques and Applications in Rheumatology
The conference was initiated with a series of Keynote addresses by well-known speakers Dr. Charles J. Malemud from Case Western Reserve University, USA, Dr. Bruce P. Burnett from Primus Pharmaceuticals, USA, Dr. Bogatkevich Galina from Medical University of South Carolina, USA, Dr. Liubov Gargau from Selag Inc., Canada. All the above mentioned Keynote speakers gave their energetic and fruitful contributions at Rheumatology-2012.
All accepted abstracts have been indexed in OMICS Group Journal of Rheumatology: Current Research as a special issue.
We are also obliged to various outside experts, company representatives and other eminent personalities who supported the conference by facilitating the discussion forums.
