As per available reports about 14 Conference Proceedings, 10 Conferences and 4 relevent journals are published by OMICS International relevant to Cardiac Muscle.
Cardiac muscle (heart muscle) is involuntary striated muscle that is found in the walls and histological foundation of the heart, specifically the myocardium. Maintenance of cardiac and skeletal muscle mass and function is central to well-being in aging and illness. Cardiac muscle is one of three major types of muscle, the others being skeletal and smooth muscle. Striated muscles, including cardiac and skeletal muscles, increase in size and mass in response to exercise, nutritional status, pregnancy and other concomitant energy demand states. The mass of cardiac and skeletal muscle declines in response to sepsis, cancer, aging and immobility. A confluence of metabolic and genetic factors regulates muscle mass, and both cardiac and skeletal muscle each have significant paracrine actions for growth beyond heart and muscle.
OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events, 500+workshops and 200+symposiums on Clinical, Medicine, Pharma and Science & Technology every year across USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Australia and UK with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700 open access journals which contains over 30000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board members.
Scope and Importance:
Cardiac muscle tissue plays the most important role in the contraction of the atria and ventricles of the heart. It causes the rhythmical beating of the heart, circulating the blood and its contents throughout the body as a consequence. The heart is mainly composed of Cardiac muscle, hence, this muscle plays an important role in the functioning of the heart. Intercalated cells in this muscle help in the contraction of multiple cells. As long as this muscle gets a sufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients, it will never cease its contracting process. The Cardiac muscle facilitates the pumping action of the ventricle. It squeezes blood out of your heart while contracting, and retrieves blood by relaxing. It pumps the deoxygenated blood from the right atrium (a chamber of the heart) and right ventricle to the lungs, and pumps oxygenated blood through the left atrium and left ventricle to other parts of the body and the aorta.
