Electrostatic force

As per available reports, 5 Journals, 6 Conferences, 4 national symposiums are especially dedicated to electrostatic force and 10 open access articles  have been published.

Electrostatic force is the phenomenon that results from slow-moving or stationary electrical charges. It is studied in the scientific discipline known as electrostatics by researchers analyzing electromagnetic interaction. Specifically, electrostatic force is the physical reaction that holds together the electromagnetic field created by subatomic particles, such as electrons and protons. In order for electrostatic forces to remain cohesive, these particles need to independently maintain both positive and negative charges and react to each other accordingly. According to the laws of physics, there are four fundamental forces that describe the reactions of particles, one of which is considered electromagnetic force, which results in electrostatic force under certain conditions.

Electrostatic forces is the force of interaction between electrically charged particles, these forces can be easily described Coulomb’s law. Coulomb's law is also called as Coulomb's inverse-square law. The law was first published in 1785 by French physicist Charles Augustin de Coulomb and was essential to the development of the theory of electromagnetism. It is analogous to Isaac Newton's inverse-square law of universal gravitation. Coulomb's law can be used to derive Gauss's law, and vice versa. The law has been tested heavily, and all observations have upheld the law's principle.

Coulomb's law:

The magnitude of the electrostatic force of interaction between two point charges is directly proportional to the scalar multiplication of the magnitudes of charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The force is along the straight line joining them. If the two charges have the same sign, the electrostatic force between them is repulsive; if they have different sign, the force between them is attractive. In either formulation, Coulomb’s law is absolutely correct only if the objects are stationary, and remains more or less correct only for slow movement. These conditions are jointly referred to as known as the electrostatic approximation. When movement takes place, magnetic fields that alter the force on the 2 objects are produced. The magnetic interaction between moving charges may be thought of as a manifestation of the force from the electrostatic field but with Einstein’s theory of relativity taken into consideration. Other theories like Weber electrodynamics predict other velocity-dependent corrections to Coulomb's law.

Scope and Importance:

Increasing disposable income, decreasing prices of consumer electronic devices in the price sensitive regions and introduction of technological advanced devices are the primary factors driving growth of the consumer electronics market globally. The consumer electronics market lately has witnessed increase in demand for wireless speakers and wireless headsets, mainly fuelled by growing popularity of on-demand infotainment services and increasing consumer preference for mobility. Asia Pacific is analyzed to be the fastest growing market for consumer electronics during the forecast period.  The growth in this region is mainly driven by India, South Korea and China. Low-cost domestic products are further cementing the demand of consumer electronics products in emerging regions.

Market Analysis:

According to a new market report published by Transparency Market Research “Consumer Electronics Market - Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends and Forecast, 2014 - 2022”, the market was valued at US$ 1,074.56 Bn in 2013 and is expected to reach US$ 1,550.34 Bn by 2022, growing at a CAGR of 4.0% from 2014 to 2022. Asia Pacific was the largest revenue contributor in 2013, accounting for 31.50% of the global consumer electronics market revenue.
