Recommended Conferences for Foundation Engineering

Foundation Engineering

As per available reports about 15 relevant journals, 15 Conferences, 30 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to foundation engineering and about 2,870 articles are being published.

The branch of engineering concerned with evaluating the earth's ability to support a load and designing substructures to transmit the load of superstructures to the earth. So basically Foundation Engineering is the engineering field of study devoted to the design of those structures which support other structures, most typically buildings, bridges or transportation infrastructure. It is at the periphery of Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering disciplines and has distinct focus on soil-structure interaction.

OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.

Scope and Importance

Engineering has existed since ancient times as humans devised fundamental inventions such as the wedge, lever, wheel, and pulley. Each of these inventions is essentially consistent with the modern definition of engineering.

The term engineering itself has a much more recent etymology, deriving from the word engineer, which itself dates back to 1300, when anengine'er (literally, one who operates an engine) originally referred to "a constructor of military engines." In this context, now obsolete, an "engine" referred to a military machine, i.e., a mechanical contraption ued in war Notable examples of the obsolete usage which have survived to the present day are military engineering corps, e.g., the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The word "engine" itself is of even older origin, ultimately deriving from the Latin ingenium meaning "innate quality, especially mental power, hence a clever invention. Engineering has been hardly classified into many streams like Automation and Robotics engineering , Production engineering , Automobile engineering , Aerospace  engineering , Electronics and Electrical  engineering , Industrial  engineering

Market Analysis

Industrial engineers can expect job growth of about 5% from 2012-2022, slower than the average rate of growth expected of all occupations, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS published in May 2012 that the median annual salary among industrial engineers was $78,860. The BLS indicated that engineers working for oil and gas extraction companies earned the most money per year, with salaries averaging $126,900. The BLS projects that the employment of industrial engineers will likely grow by about six percent between 2010 and 2020, a rate that is slower than the national average predicted for all occupations.
