As per available reports about 12 Conferences, 4 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to gastrointestinal diseases and about 2 articles are being published on gastrointestinal diseases.
Gastrointestinal diseases refer to diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract, namely the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and rectum, and the accessory organs of digestions, the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. Even though anatomically part of the GI tract, diseases of the mouth are often not considered alongside other gastrointestinal diseases. By far the most common oral conditions are plaque-induced diseases (e.g. gingivitis, periodontitis, dental caries). Oesophageal diseases include a spectrum of disorders affecting the oesophagus. The most common condition of the oesophagus in Western countries is gastroesophageal reflux disease,[2] which in chronic forms is thought to result in changes to the epithelium of the oesophagus, known as Barrett's oesophagus. Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, including functional bowel diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease (CD) and colitis, afflict more than one in five Americans, particularly women. Personalized cancer medicine, Genomics and Preventive medicine are emerging practice of medicine that uses an individual's genetic profile to guide decisions made in regard to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.
Scope and Importance:
Functional disorders are those in which the bowel looks normal but doesn't work properly. They are the most common problems affecting the colon and rectum, and include constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The primary causes for functional disorders include: Eating a diet low in fiber, Not getting enough exercise, Traveling or other changes in routine, Eating large amounts of dairy products, Being stressed, Resisting the urge to have a bowel movement, Resisting the urge to have bowel movements due to pain from hemorrhoids, Overusing laxatives (stool softeners) that, over time, weaken the bowel muscles, Taking antacid medicines containing calcium or aluminum, Taking certain medicines (especially antidepressants, iron pills, and strong pain medicines such as narcotics), Being pregnant.
Market Analysis:
Market analysis would be used, rather than direct examination of the gene, for several reasons: 1. The gene location is known, but the gene sequence has not yet been determined and thus cannot be analyzed directly. But if markers exist close to the gene locus, then the mutant gene can be inferred through marker analysis. 2. Marker analysis is much faster analysis then directs gene sequencing. 3. Marker analysis is much cheaper then gene analysis. Marker analysis can generally be performed for under $200, while a complete screen of a gene can be several thousand dollars.
