Papillary Breast Cancer

As per available reports about 17 relevant journals, 39 Conferences, 9 workshops, 8 National Symposiums, are presently dedicated exclusively to Papillary Breast Cancer and about 2,070 articles are being published on Papillary Breast Cancer.
Papillary Breast Cancer is an uncommon type of invasive ductal breast cancer, which accounts for less than 1% of all breast cancers. Many papillary tumors are benign papillomas and these are called papillomas. Even when the biopsy is negative for cancer, the pathologist often to look around the tumor under the microscope to be sure of the diagnosis. Therefore usually recommend surgery to remove a papilloma virus, although it is thought to be benign. Malignant tumors papillary is a form of breast cancer. Like other types of invasive ductal cancer, Papillary Breast Cancer starts in the milk duct of the breast. Most of the time, papillary cancers including breast cells both in situ (not yet spread outside the duct) and invasive cells (which have started to spread outside the duct). Papillary breast cancer generally small and positive for estrogen and / or progesterone receptor (ER / PR +) and negative for the HER2 receptor (HER2). Compared with the most common types of breast cancer, papillary breast cancer are less likely to involve lymph nodes, are more sensitive to treatment, and may have a better prognosis than the more common types of invasive ductal carcinoma.
Scope and Importance:
The treatment used for Papillary Breast Cancer is local therapy and systemic therapy. Local treatment is to prevent relapse of cancer of the breast. Local treatment include surgery (lumpectomy or mastectomy), and may include radiation. Systemic therapy is used to prevent the disease from returning or spreading to other parts of the body. Information about the treatment of patients with papillary carcinoma is limited, and the pattern observed in the available series suggest a different approach to this disease. This may include endocrine therapy (hormonal) therapy and chemotherapy directed against the HER2 protein. Often different types of treatment are used together to achieve the best results. The treatment plan is based on the cell type, tumor grade, hormone receptor status, HER2 status, tumor size and nodal status. Everyone knows that it can be stressful to receive a diagnosis of breast cancer, and learning that has a rare form of the disease can add to your anxiety. Many researchers devoted to the latest research and treatment of papillary cancer. The incidence of both invasive Papillary Carcinoma in situ appears to be older and older postmenopausal women, and in relative terms-in males.
