    Biography :
    P. Syamasundar Rao has completed his medical degree from Andhra Medical College/Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India and postdoctoral studies in Pediatric Cardiology from Stanford University, Palo Alto, Case-Western Reserve University, Cleveland and UCLA, Los Angeles Schools of Medicine. He is currently Professor of Pediatrics & Medicine, Emeritus Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at University of Texas-Houston Medical School, Houston, USA. He has published more than 350 papers in reputed journals, 230 abstracts and presentations, 150 invited presentations & lectureships, 7 monographs and books and 55 book chapters. His special interests are Physiologically Advantageous Ventricular Septal Defects, Tricuspid Atresia and Transcatheter Management of Heart Defects.    BIOGRAPHY

Brojendra N Agarwala has been certified by American Board of Pediatrics. He has been named as best Pediatrician by CHICAGO MAGAZINE.     Biography :
    Brian Sims earned a dual MD/PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and UAB School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Washington University, St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He returned to Birmingham where he completed his Fellowship in Neonatology at UAB. As a Fellow he received the American Academy of Pediatrics NRP Young Investigator Award. He is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with UAB Neonatology. He is a former recipient of the Harold Amos Faculty Development Award through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Dr. Sims received a 2 year CHRC K12 award that he used to study neural precursors and neuroprotective pathways. He is actively involved in teaching high school, college, medical and graduate students and was recently awarded the Presidents Award for Diversity.     BIOGRAPHY

    Biography :
    Dr. Bottari obtained his M.D. and subsequently his Ph.D. degrees at the Free University in Brussels, Belgium. He specialized in OB/GYN and was a post-doctoral student at UC San Francisco. After having been a project leader in the pharmaceutical industry, he became Professor of Cell Biology at the Medical School in Grenoble and Head of Endocrine and recently of Cardiovascular Biology at the University Hospital. While still a medical student, he was active in A.D. Strosberg’s lab and participated in the first purification of a G-protein coupled receptor, the avian ß-adrenergic receptor, to be reported, in 1977 . His first publication describing the structure-activity relationships of ß-adrenergic receptors appeared two years later. His major contributions have been in the field of membrane receptor characterization and signalling, in particular with regard to the angiotensin AT2 receptor. His current work focuses on the pathophysiological role of nitro-oxidative stress and on insulin resistance especially during pregnancy and in newborns.    BIOGRAPHY

    Dr. Prem Arora has completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India, and Residency in Pediatrics from Wayne State University School of Medicine and affiliated Children\'s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, MI, USA. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and currently works in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Children\'s Hospital of Michigan. He has published papers in reputed journals in the field of Pediatrics and presented his research work at the topmost scientific meetings.     Biography :
    Raul Lopez Grueso attained degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences in 2002 at University of Granada (Spain) and my Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2005) and he began Ph.D. in Human Nutrition (2002) with Dr. Guerra at University of Granada (Department of Nutrition and Bromatology, University of Granada). I researched about the chemical composition of Spirulina algae. Then, he was doing a Master in Obesity and Cardiovascular Risk Factors whilst did a Dietitian practices at the Unit of Endocrinology and Nutrition (Hospital Reina Sofia, Córdoba, Spain). During this time he was a personal dietitian and trainer of various elite/amateurs athletes and teams because I like sports very much as hobby as professional aspects. he obtained a research grant (Ministry of Education and Science, Spain) for to realize Ph.D. thesis on Physiology with Dr. Vina (Department of Physiology, University of Valencia, Spain) from 2006 to 2011. Since that moment until today He has been working in different research projects with molecular biology techniques (genes and proteins expression and proteins activities, cell cultures,…), and small animals (Drosophila melanogaster, mice and rats). Actually, He was focusing researches on PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and its interest for to study the glucose metabolism (FDG) in physiological (i.e: ageing, gender, exercise, etc.) and pathological situations (i.e: Cancer, Alzheimer´s disease, etc.). I did a stay in Sevilla at the centre PET-Cartuja in 2007 where he was learning about human applications of PET technology and a second research stay in King´s College of London with Prof. G.E. Mann where he got experience in few cell cultures, oxidatives stress parameters and compounds . He was an associate professor of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and researcher in Nutrition, Physiology and Physical Activity fields the last three years until today.    BIOGRAPHY

    Dr. Mohammad-Reza Sohrabi is an associate professor of community medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. He is a board certified community medicine specialist and also have two master degrees in medical education and public health (MPH).     Dominique BREMOND-GIGNAC, MD, PhD, is Professor of Ophthalmology with pediatric ophthalmology subspecialty at Universitary Saint Victor Centre Hospital Amiens and Picardie Jules Verne University. Previously, she was Associate Professor of Anatomy at Paris 7 University and at Head of the Ophthalmology clinic department at Robert Debre Pediatric Hospital in Paris.Graduated, in pharmacology and statistics (master) and PhD thesis in Anatomy, her activity is distributed in teaching, clinical practice and research. Her research interest ranges from development of oculo-orbital structures and ocular surface morphology. She has participated as principal investigator in more than ten clinical research studies, and has contributed in international congresses and scientific meetings. At medicine faculty, she used to teach general anatomy and ophthalmology for pregraduate (medical school) and postgraduate (residency, fellowship, master degrees, doctorate and CME courses). Involved in management of the pediatric department, her practice includes oculo-plastic surgery as she is also graduated in maxillo-facial surgery.     BIOGRAPHY
