Chromosomal changes are the main features of cancer which is mainly called as alteration in the genes, typically the alteration in the genes are majorly divided in three types Oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes and the genes that preserve the integrity of the genome. Cancer is a multistep process and different kinds of alteration in the genes causes’ full blown cancer.
OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.
Scope and Importance:
Pan-genomic analyses of genetic and epigenetic alterations and gene expression profiles are providing important new insights into the pathogenesis and molecular classification of cancers. Interestingly, genomic studies of adrenal cancers have also identified subtypes of malignant tumors, which demonstrate distinct patterns of molecular alterations and are associated with different clinical outcomes. These discoveries have created the opportunity for classifying adrenocortical tumours on the basis of molecular analyses. Following these genomic studies, efforts to develop new molecular tools that improve diagnosis and prognostication of patients with adrenocortical tumours have also been made. This Review describes the progress that has been made towards classification of adrenocortical tumours to date based on key genomic approaches. In addition, the potential for the development and use of various molecular tools to personalize the management of patients with adrenocortical tumours is discussed.
The genomics era has yielded great advances in the understanding of cancer biology. At the same time, the immense complexity of the cancer genome has been revealed, as well as a striking heterogeneity at the whole-genome (or omics) level that exists between even histological similar tumors
This cancer genetics symposium will focus on how current practices are determined and how practice will evolve over the coming years. It has been developed to help busy clinicians recognise and treat families with an inherited predisposition to cancer.
Market Analysis:
The global oncology drugs market is expected to reach at $111.9 billion by 2020. Patent expiration of key cancer drugs such as Herceptin, Erbitux, Rituxan and Avastin, is expected to boost the growth of cancer biosimilars market by 2020. Going further, the biological therapies are expected to dominate the market by 2020, due to their high efficacy, target specific action and less toxicity. Blood cancer drugs market was the largest revenue generating segment in 2013 owing to the high cost of drugs (immunotherapies) used for the treatment of blood cancer.
