Rheumatic Heart Disease

As per available reports about 12 Conference Proceedings and 10 Conferences by OMICS International relevant to Rheumatic Heart Disease.

Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is the most common acquired heart disease in children in many countries of the world, especially in developing countries. The global burden of disease caused by rheumatic fever currently falls disproportionately on children living in the developing world, especially where poverty is widespread.

RHD is a chronic heart condition caused by rheumatic fever that can be prevented and controlled. Rheumatic fever is caused by a preceding group A streptococcal (strep) infection. Treating strep throat with antibiotics can prevent rheumatic fever. Moreover, regular antibiotics (usually monthly injections) can prevent patients with rheumatic fever from contracting further strep infections and causing progression of valve damage.

Rheumatic Heart disease is referred as valvular heart disease resulting from Rheumatic fever. Statistically numbers of patients with rheumatic fever are less in number in developed countries compared with developing countries. Sometimes this may leads to endocarditis (inflammation in valves of heart). Individuals with valvular hear diseases who are pregnant is a risky thing as development of foetus increases the circulation of blood volume which increases the cardiac output which results in increase in stroke volume and finally increases the heart beat 10-20 time than normal. Mainly in Rheumatic heart disease inflammation of fibrino layer is seen. Treatment of Rheumatic heart disease involves the use of ACE inhibitors, Diuretics, and cardio tonics like digoxin, digitoxin etc. Annually about 300000 deaths are caused by Rheumatic heart disease all around the world.

OMICS International organises 1000+ Global Events every Year in Conference series, on Clinical, Medicine, Pharma and Science & Technology every year across USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Australia and UK with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members.

Importance and Scope:

Rheumatic Heart Disease also includes discussion on type of Inflammatory Heart diseases and their diagnosis by ECG, CT scan etc and their treatment by different drugs and their adverse reactions. Clinal trails in cardiology and different Ethical aspects, cardiovascular implants and their use commercialization of these surgeries and transplantation techniques are also in deeply discussed. Cardiovascular due to genetical problems and Atherosclerosis cause of heart attack have a great potential in Rheumatic Heart Disease conferences.
A conference is a meeting of people who “confer” about a topic. The topic may be of different areas. Annually there are about 120 Heart disease conferences all over the world covering various areas. These conferences make a platform between the Health care professionals and the researchers and scientists. Rheumatic Heart Disease conference series cover the types of heart diseases and particularly the valvular diseases as rheumatic heart disease is a valvular disease and its treatment and preventive measures. These conferences also have scope to discuss about the recent advances in pediatric cardiology and pediatric heart failures which is mostly seen in developing countries.
